My Sexy Saturday, week 79

Welcome to week 79 of My Sexy Saturday – better late than never, right?  If you’re not familiar with My Sexy Saturday, it is a blog hop which gives writers of erotica a chance to share 7 words, sentences or paragraphs from a published or unpublished work, based each week on a different theme.

The theme this week is ‘A Sexy Valentine’… and I hate to say it, but I don’t actually have any Valentine’s related scenes in any of my stories!  Well, there is one, but I’ve already shared it as part of MSS.

So this week, I am going to share something from a WIP I’m working on at the moment.  Prior to this scene happening, Jamie and Josh had been introduced to each other by their mutual friend, Marcus.  What was supposedly a chance meeting was actually some carefully planned match-making by Marcus.  Match-making that paid off!

Before Jame could decide whether to apologise and ask him to leave or not, Josh’s hands were back on her hips and they were kissing again. The kiss was different from the earlier one, it was slow and tender with none of the frantic hunger of that first kiss. It was full of heat, but relaxed – if a kiss could be such a thing – and her thoughts of asking him to leave quickly began to melt away.

“I am so glad Marcus invited me out,” Josh commented when the kiss came to an end, Jamie blushed.

“I am too,” she replied and they smiled nervously at each other.

“I wasn’t going to but Marcus promised me I wouldn’t regret it if I did,” Josh added and Jamie realised it was likely their meeting wasn’t quite as fortuitous as she had thought.

“He did, did he?”  Jamie asked suspiciously and Josh laughed, obviously coming to the same realisation she had.
